Francisco Saco is a writer, director and editor living and working in Berlin. Born in Miami, FL, his family is originally from Cuba. In 1990, his father was transferred to Costa Rica, where Francisco lived until the age of 18. He then went to study film and sociology at Boston College and Emerson College in Boston, MA. Upon graduation, he traveled extensively through Western and Northern Europe, but ultimately returned to the United States to work in the film and advertising industries in New York. A year later, he decided to pack up and move to London, where he attended Goldsmiths College and received his master's degree in screenwriting and film production. He currently resides in Berlin, working freelance on video and film productions, working on individual projects, and starting up a DVD magazine with friends.
